The Company is pleased to announce that its Board of Directors has appointed Jim Smith as a non-executive director of the Company. Jim will also be a member of the Company's Audit, Management Engagement and Nominations Committees. His appointment will be effective from 1 May 2023.

Jim is the former Managing Director of SSE Renewables ("SSE") with 34 years' experience within the electricity industry at SSE. He was previously responsible for SSE's major capital infrastructure investments in renewables, thermal generation, gas storage and transmission before taking responsibility for offshore wind development and construction in 2008 and then all renewable development and construction in 2012. Jim became Managing Director of SSE in 2018 with responsibility for the 4GW operational fleet and the development pipeline, taking over 5GW of projects through financial close prior to his retirement in 2022.
